Angie Frank is looking for community members to serve as actors in her project “My Zip Code Is Killin’ Me!”

The project is a community-based theatrical production designed to be a training tool for local healthcare workers.

Frank is putting on the play in conjunction with the Duluth Health and Wellness Table, a group organized to eliminate racism in healthcare experiences.

Community members of all races and ethnicity are invited to join the production and share their experiences.

The play will take excerpts from participants’ experiences and recreate them for healthcare workers in an interactive format.

Rehearsals are being held Mondays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 1 Roof Housing on East 4th St. in Duluth.

Any community member willing and able to fully commit to the project will be compensated at a rate of $10.00 per hour.
