Local law students host a fundraiser

The Volunteer Attorney program had their annual Law Law Palooza fundraiser tonight.

This is the fourth year of the event, which features musical performances by local judges, attorneys and justice partners as well as a silent auction and dinner.

Dori Streit, Executive Director, said “We like to say that the judges and lawyers and friends are trading in their suits for microphones tonight so we’ve got lots of talent.”

Awards were given out at the event for Volunteer Attorney of the Year and Volunteer Law firm of the Year.

All proceeds raised will provide services to low income families in Minnesota.
