Berg, Balts Lead Bulldogs Volleyball Team Past Beavers

The UMD volleyball team hosted a rare Tuesday night game at Romano Gym.

DULUTH, Minn. – Kate Berg led the way with 18 kills while Abby Thor chipped in with 16 of her own as the UMD volleyball team knocked off Bemidji State 3-1 Tuesday night at Romano Gym.

Emily Balts also contributed to the cause with 51 assists to help the Bulldogs improve to 21-3 on the season and 14-2 within the conference. Next up for UMD is a top-ten showdown Friday night against #7 Concordia-St. Paul.
