Summer Concerts Kick Off This Weekend at 'Big Top'

School is out, summer is here and the musical festivals are starting!

The first weekend of music at the Lake Superior Big Top Chautauqua kicks off this weekend and runs every weekend and runs every weekend throughout the summer.

Managers say they have a variety of music genres and hope everyone can make the most of the short summer season and enjoy the sunshine.

“This is really a world class entertainment center and the entertainers that come here to perform love coming up here. You’re sitting here and between the break you have the crickets going and you go up on the top of the hill and you have the Northern Lights overhead. You can tell we are so far away from the highway. There is no city of highway sounds.  It’s a magical place,” said Operations Manager at Big Top, Phillip Anich.

Michael Franti kicks off the fun Saturday, June 13th, at 7:30 p.m.
