DEDA: NorShor Construction Set For August

The NorShor Theatre is still lights out with no signs of construction. 

However, we’re told the $20-plus million renovation project is now set to begin this August. 

Chris Eng, with the Duluth Economic Development Authority, told FOX 21 on Wednesday that he’s still working out final details on the development agreement with Sherman Associates. 

Eng said it’s taken longer than expected to bundle up the “8 or 9” different funding sources. 

The project will take 18 months to complete.
