Volunteers Needed For New Hermantown Trail Group

Duluth is not the only city investing in its trails these days; Hermantown is right there with them.

But the city is in need of help.

It’s forming a “Friends of the Trails” group as a way to maintain existing trails and create new ones that’ll eventually connect to Duluth’s Munger Trail.

“It adds to a healthier lifestyle. I think it just enhances the community, and I think as a whole we are all better off for having these trail,” said Michael Koppy, a coordinator of the volunteer effort.
