1 Roof Community Housing Reflects, Looks Ahead

One Roof Community Housing celebrated its past successes and looked ahead Tuesday to housing more Duluthians.
The non-profit provides all types of housing services under one roof on Lake Avenue and 4th Street — everything from down-payment assistance to housing for lower-income families and renters.
Officials say affordability is an issue for at least half of Duluth.
“What housing costs versus what people make for a living – If you add on top of that the old housing stock that we have in the community and the tremendous cost of fixing that up, housing is a big challenge for Duluthians,” said Jeff Corey, executive director of 1 Roof Community Housing.
