A woman in Eveleth is $71,000 all the richer after winning the state’s largest single charitable gaming bingo jackpot.

Audrey Blackwood hit the Flash Bingo Progressive Jackpot playing Pilot Games $2 bingo at Margie’s Roosevelt Bar, in Eveleth Saturday evening.

Years after the state wrote off charitable gaming as a way to fund the Vikings stadium it seems to be picking up quite the momentum.

Pilot Games began operations a year ago and this June, they’re expected to exceed $5-million in pull tab sales.

“E–Tab electronics have been going on for at least two and a half years. They got a really rough start all the way around. We got on right away and have had a lot of success with them and our customers enjoy that form of entertainment,” said Owner of Roosevelt Bar Margie Koivunen.

The winner will be awarded her check this Wednesday, at Roosevelt Bar, at 4:00p.m.
