Fitger’s Brewhouse reached a milestone last night!

They brewed their 4,000th batch of beer.

When the brewery started there were only 4 breweries in Minnesota. Now, there are over 100.

They say they’ve felt the support from the community as they grew in the craft beer industry.

In honor of this big occasion, they brewed a special batch called a “milk chocolate chili stout.”

“It tastes like a chocolate shake and then it finishes with a real nice solid zing of pepper that kind of stays with you for 10 or 15 seconds and then goes away,” said Master Brewer Dave Hoops.

Fitger’s Brewhouse will be releasing a series of new beers in the Fall in honor of their 20th year.
