Dave – as in Famous Dave’s – is back at it serving up delicious barbecue to the people of Wisconsin.

Dave opened up Jimmie’s Old Southern BBQ Smokehouse in Hayward this April, and has been smoking up a storm ever since.

He says losing his original Famous Dave’s BBQ joint to a fire last November was devastating, but is happy to be back serving his BBQ–loving fans.

“Getting a second chance, being able to get back out there, get my head back in the smoke, being able to serve up some great-tasting BBQ, this is what the American dream is all about,” Dave Anderson said. 

Dave says Jimmie’s is a totally different BBQ experience than Famous Dave’s.
