Residents Collaborate on Community Garage Sale

You know what they say – one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.
Friday, residents of the Duluth Heights neighborhood held a community garage sale to go out with the old and in with the new.
Forty-one houses in the area participated in the sale.
The organizer of the garage sale says with events like these, timing is everything.
“The time of year just seems awesome, everybody wants to get stuff out of their house, everybody’s been stocking up all winter long, May hits, it’s nice weather, let’s get some stuff out of here and start over,” said Mel Robison.
Robison hopes to make this garage sale an annual Memorial Day Weekend event.
