The Superior Jaycees has partnered with the Superior Fire Department to donate three new automatic external defibrillators.

The currents devices were old and needed to be replaced.

Each costs just over $1,000 with a grand total of about $3,100.

The members of the Jaycees are happy to be donating to the fire department for the first time.

“This is really a feel good kind of thing.  We can help out the most amount of people.  These AEDs will be able to virtually help everybody in the community, so it’s really great,” said Superior Jaycees President Ryan Yingling.

The department now has six AEDs.
