Fire Destroys Floodwood Barn

A fire ripped through a barn in Floodwood Tuesday night.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department and the Floodwood Volunteer Fire Department responded to the blaze at 12292 Rudolph Road around 5:30 p.m.

When crews arrived, the barn was engulfed in flames.

The property owner told authorities the fire may have been started by an electrical heater being used to heat the barn up.

The barn was a total loss.

The incident remains under investigation.
