Dirty cars along with soap and water helped Superior’s first female lacrosse team get closer to their $500 dollar goal.
The Superior LAX girls lacrosse team held a car wash to raise money in order to buy equipment and team insurance.
The girls have only been playing for about a month but their coach says they are building lots of key skills including camaraderie.
“These girls are learning how to get along, work as a team not just on the field but off the field as well,” head coach Amanda Lindquist said. “I think that’s really important.”
The fundraiser was held in Campbell Lumber’s parking lot in Superior.
