St. Scholastica students are raising money to help earthquake victims in Nepal.
Scholars, who are also from Nepal, set up a table selling candy and taking donations inside the student union.
So far they’ve raised nearly $200 and the goal is to raise $1000.
“I have a lot of friends in U.S. who are doing similar things in their schools and their communities,” CSS student and Nepal native Gaurav Adhikari said. “So I just think it’s only my duty to do something similar over here too.”
The death toll now stands at more than 6,200.
