Fatal ATV Accident in Wisconsin

(AP) – A 10-year-old boy has died days after he was injured in an all-terrain vehicle accident.       

The Racine Journal Times reports that Timothy Jorgenson of Dover died Thursday at Children’s Hospital.        

The boy was injured three days earlier.

Sheriff’s deputies and Kansasville Fire and Rescue crews were called to a home Monday afternoon and arrived to find the boy was in the back of the property, and had signs of life.

He was taken to the fire department, then flown to a hospital.      

The Racine County Sheriff’s Office has said the boy was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
