Virginia Man Sentenced for Aiding in Murder

One of the suspects involved in a murder in Virginia has been sentenced.

Thirty–nine year old John Isham will spend six and a half years in prison for a count of aiding an offender –accomplice after the fact.

He had originally been facing a charge of first–degree murder.

He pleaded guilty for his role in the stabbing death of 29–year–old Harley Jacka in 2014.

Thirty-nine year old Bartholamy Drift and Janessa Peters have already pleaded guilty to second–degree murder for their roles in Jacka’s death.

Forty-three year old Anthony Isham is also facing a count of first degree murder in connection to the case.

Isham is credited with serving 723 days of his sentence.
