Art and Community Merge at UWS

Just across the bridge another art event took place this weekend at UWS.
The second annual community art show hosted by the UWS Art Club featured photography, mixed mediums including colored pencils and charcoals, as well as written work.
The event highlighted the community and a whole and their artistic efforts.
“You don’t have to have an extreme amount of talent or you don’t have to be extremely artistic to create art. Most of the people here are extremely artistic, but some people are just showcasing their art as colleagues or anything else,” said Victoria Vanderwerf UWS’s Art Club President.
The show is open to the public thru April 3rd.
