Tubman to Replace Jackson on $20 Bill

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew is expected to announce later Wednesday that Harriet Tubman will replace former President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill.

The move makes Tubman the first woman on U.S. paper currency in 100 years.

Lew is also expected to announce changes to the $10 bill.  Alexander Hamilton will stay on the bill, however, there will be a montage of leaders from the women’s suffrage movement added on the back.

The new bill is expected to enter circulation by 2020.
