Some downtown restaurants are ramping up their staff and ordering extra food as part of an effort that helps boost area businesses.
Hickory smoked meatloaf and Nutella mousse are just a few things Midi Restaurant will offer this weekend on their special Eat Downtown menu.
They along with 18 other downtown Duluth eateries have put together multi–course $10 dollar lunch and $25 dollar dinner meals.
Other than unique flavors and happy taste buds the reduced priced dining will also bring in big profits.
Midi expects their business to triple.
“This is typically a little slower time of year for restaurants and retail,” Midi Restaurant Manager Brenda Witte said. “So we do like to take advantage and be a part of this so it’s a great opportunity.”
Restaurant week will kick off this Sunday and run until March 7th.
