Former UMD Women’s Hockey Captain Jalyn Elmes Signs Pro Deal in Sweden

DULUTH, Minn. – Former UMD Bulldog Jalyn Elmes will begin her pro career overseas in Sweden.

The former captain signed a one-year deal with Brynas IF of the Swedish Women’s Hockey League. Elmes will see some familiar names in the SDHL as Lara Stalder and Katerina Mrazova also play there. The Manitoba native finished her career ranked 10th in program history with 43 assists.
