After Four Winters, Half Pipe is Back by Popular Demand

Back by popular demand, Spirit Mountain is proud to announce the reopening of its half pipe.

It’s been four winters since it’s been open and in celebration, the mountain teamed up with Damage Board Shop who threw down their best tricks on the pipe Friday night.

“In the Midwest, there’s just not a whole lot of pipes, and there’s certainly not a whole lot of good ones,” explained Jody Ream, General Manager of Spirit Mountain. “It’s something that we’ve got a really great terrain for, got a great climate for, got some of the best park crew, and pipe cutter in the country.”

The half pipe will be open following normal mountain hours.
