An adventure that began 5 years ago for Lonnie Dupre, ended a few weeks back at 20,237 feet, as he became the first man to summit north America’s tallest peak all by himself in January.
“It wasn’t easy and I didn’t know if I was going to be able to accomplish it this year,” Dupre admits. “And if I hadn’t accomplished it this year, I would have gave it up and did something else
