Duluth Council Approves NorShor Funding

Agreement Paves Way for $300K Pre-Development Loan

New funding is headed to help restore Duluth’s NorShor Theatre.

Duluth city councilors voted 8-1 Monday in favor of an agreement between Sherman Associates and the Duluth Economic Development Authority for a $300,000 pre-development loan.

George Sherman has said he hopes restoring the theater will bring economic growth and vitality to the community.
