Traffic Advisory: Akrola Rd. in Cotton to Close for Repairs

Arkola Road in Cotton will temporarily close beginning Monday. 

The road, known as County State Aid Highway 52, will close for culvert repairs from Highway 53 west to CSAH 7. 

The closure is expected to last up to 15 days. 

The work is being done in preparation for a road resurfacing project that will begin later this spring. 

Signs will be in place to direct motorists to use CSAH 133 as a detour. 

The $1.5 million project is funding in part by Transportation Sales Tax revenue.
