Perkins, Stejskal Earn Weekly Honors

Bulldogs Swept Beavers in Two-Game Stint

DULUTH, Minn.- A pair of UMD Bulldogs are being rewarded for their pair of weekend wins over Bemidji State.

Matthew Perkins has been named the NCHC Rookie of the Week after scoring his first collegiate goal and adding two assists on Friday.

In addition, Zach Stejskal was named the NCHC Goaltender of the Week. The senior earned both of the Bulldogs’ wins. Friday was also his first collegiate shutout.

The Bulldogs will head to New York this upcoming weekend for a two-game series against Cornell.
