UMD’s Gascon Named WCHA Rookie of the Week

21 saves in win over Minnesota State Mankato

DULUTH, Minn.- UMD’s Ève Gascon is being recognized for her immediate impact in front of the net for the Bulldogs.

The freshman was named WCHA Rookie of the week after tallying 21 saves in Friday’s win over Minnesota State Mankato. This was Gascon’s second win of the season.

The UMD women’s hockey team is set to face Bemidji State on the road this Friday and Saturday.
