Prep Football: Hermantown, Deer River, & Northwestern See Season’s End

DULUTH, Minn.- The Hermantown football team wasn’t able to return the favor to North Branch on Friday, falling to the Vikings 28 to 21 in the Section 7AAAA title game.
This is the 2nd straight season the Vikings have advanced to the state tournament.
Weirdly enough, both of the contests that Hermantown and North Branch met up this season, ended in a 28 to 21 score.
In 7A, Deer River was unable to defend their section title crown as Braham tops the Warriors 28 to 8.
Then in Wisconsin, Northwestern see’s their season end in level 3, falling to St. Croix Falls 46 to 18.
The Saints would score 30 unanswered points in the 2nd half.
