DULUTH, Minn.- The Duluth Northern Stars girls hockey team opened up their season on Friday, unfortunately it didn’t go their way as Breck picked up the 5 to 2 victory.

Senior goalie Ella Brisbois reached history in the contest, tallying her 1,000th career save.

Duluth (0-1) will look to get back on track on Saturday when they host Roseville/Mahtomedi. Puck drop is at 2 PM.
