Esko Football Sees Season End in AAA Quarterfinals
Esko finishes the year at 10-1.
BRAINERD, Minn.- The Esko football team’s historic season came to a close on Saturday in the Class AAA quarterfinals.
Esko was matched up with Annandale at Brainerd High School.
Early on, Esko would strike first as Jacion Owens connected with Sam Haugen on the deep ball to give Esko the seven point lead.
Then sadly the team was dealt with a blow as Koi Perich tore his oblique later that quarter and he would not return.
Perich confirmed the news on his own personal twitter page.
Annandale would eventually put the game away in the 4th to win 14 to 7.
