UMD Men’s Hockey Continues Rivalry Tour With Trip to St. Cloud
The Bulldogs are looking to snap a six game winless streak.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD men’s hockey team will look to snap their six game winless streak with another rivalry series this weekend.
The Bulldogs will be in St. Cloud to take on the 17th ranked Huskies.
A team UMD has seen quite a bit over the years.
Just last season, the two squads would meet in seven games. With UMD taking the regular season series, three games to one. And St. Cloud State returning the favor taking two out of three games in the NCHC playoffs.
Head Coach Scott Sandelin says this week it’s been all about executing.
“I don’t think it’s going to be any different this weekend. We have to find a way to get back on track. They’re coming off a great four games, two game road sweep in a tough building. So it’s not going to be easy,” said Sandelin.
Game one is slated for 7:30 PM on Friday.
