Clinton Fire Dept. Accepts 2,352 Cans Of Drinking Water From Anheuser-Busch

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Minn. – The Clinton Volunteer Fire Department & EMS received thousands of cans of drinking water from Anheuser-Busch.

Fire Capt. Eric Monson said the 2,352 canned waters will help first responders stay hydrated when they battle wildfires and other disasters.

“This generous donation will significantly enhance our emergency response capabilities and ensure that we can better serve and protect the residents by having safe and clean water for our personal when fighting fires not only in Clinton Township but throughout the state of Minnesota if called,” Capt. Eric Monson said.

Since 2019, Anheuser-Busch has donated nearly 6.5 million cans of water to more than 1,400 fire departments in nearly all 50 states, according to a news release.

And since 1988, the brewer has donated more than 90 million cans to communities impacted by natural disasters and other crisis situations.

Clinton Volunteer Fire Department & EMS is located in rural Iron, Minnesota, covering 36-square miles of Clinton Township, as well as the city of Iron Junction.  They also respond as needed through mutual aid to additional communities in the Iron Range.
