Three-Vehicle Crash on the Corner of 21st Ave. E and London Rd

DULUTH,  Minn. — A three-vehicle accident took place on the corner of 21st Ave. E and London Rd in the early morning hours Wednesday, November 22. No injuries reported.

According to the Duluth Police Department, officers responded at approximately 5:20 am to the report of a three-vehicle pileup crash.

London Road Accident

Initial investigation showed an individual failed to stop at a traffic signal while traveling downbound on 21st Avenue East, hitting another vehicle that was traveling westbound on London Road, which then hit another vehicle that was driving eastbound on London Road due to the aftermath of the incident.

No injuries were reported and the individual who failed to stop at a traffic signal was issued a citation.

The individual stated he was on ‘auto-pilot’ at the time of the crash and failed to stop at a traffic signal. However, no additional distractions were indicated.
