New Digs for Apricot Lane
Boutique re-opens after two months of preparation
DULUTH, Minn. — Who doesn’t like a fresh start…not to mention a new place for a familiar face?
Wednesday was a soft launch of sorts for the new home of Apricot Lane Boutique. It’s been off the radar for a couple months while they moved from their Miller Hill Mall location to West Central Entrance.
Owner Wendy Myers could not contain her excitement. She says the new location has more room, more space for inventory, even windows to see outside. Specializing in items hard to find someplace else, she said the goal was to open a little sooner, but a big move takes time, and lots of details.
“A lot of our customers are really understanding, and you know unfortunately we were closed for two months while we transitioned, but we really wanted to be open for the holiday weekend, and small business Saturday, which is really big or small businesses. So, we just wanted to really try and work out some bugs before Friday. You know there’s always a few hiccups when you move. So, we wanted to really try and work out those bugs and get a few more things set up, you know. And just invite our customers in to come see and check it out. We’re super excited to see everybody again. And just get back to it! Really, yeah,” said Myers.
Myers says they also have a lot more flexibility at their new location, and plenty of ideas for the future at their new digs.
