UMD Women’s Hockey Now Ranked #6, MacLeod Earns WCHA Goaltender of the Week Honors

MacLeod and UMD will head to Madison this upcoming weekend to face Wisconsin.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s hockey team is moving up in the polls after winning one game and tying one game over the weekend against 4th ranked Colgate.

The Bulldogs are now the 6th ranked team in the country after being ranked 7th and 9th.

In other UMD news, sophomore goaltender Hailey MacLeod has earned WCHA Goaltender of the Week honors.

MacLeod made 66 saves of the 67 shots she saw over the weekend. She also had a shutout on Friday night.

MacLeod and UMD will head to Madison this upcoming weekend to face Wisconsin.
