UMD Football’s Kyle Walljasper Named Finalist for 2023 Harlon Hill Trophy
This past season, Walljasper had 39 total touchdowns, which was the 2nd most touchdowns in a single season in program history.
DULUTH, Minn.- After the breakout season he had, it’s no surprise that UMD sophomore quarterback Kyle Walljasper is being rewarded for his efforts.
On Monday, Walljasper was named as one of the 38 finalists for the 2023 Harlon Hill Trophy, which is given to the Division II College Football Player of the Year.
This past season, Walljasper had 39 total touchdowns, which was the 2nd most touchdowns in a single season in program history.
He also led the league in rushing touchdowns with 16 and averaged 9.3 points per game which was also a league best.
The winner will be announced on December 15th.
