DULUTH, Minn.- After splitting with 2nd ranked Wisconsin over the weekend, the UMD women’s hockey team surprisingly sees no movement in this week’s USCHO Poll.

The Bulldogs stay as the 6th ranked team in the country. Wisconsin on the other hand, has dropped just one spot to number three.

In other UMD women’s hockey news, freshman defender Ida Karlsson has earned WCHA defender of the week honors.

Karlsson had three assists, which was a career-high in Sunday’s contest versus the Badgers.
