UMD Men’s & Women’s Basketball Both Move Up One Spot in Latest Polls
Both teams will play at Sioux Falls on Friday.
DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD women’s basketball team has moved up a spot in the latest WBCA poll.
The Bulldogs are now the 19th ranked team in the country after picking up two wins this past weekend against Wayne State and Augustana.
UMD, who is now 6-1 will hit the road for a conference road trip with stops at Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State.
The matchup with the Cougars is set for Friday at 7:30 pm.
Like the women’s team, the UMD men’s basketball team is also moving up one spot in the NABC poll.
After being ranked 13th, UMD is now 12th after also picking up two wins this past weekend against Wayne State and Augustana.
The 7-1 Bulldogs now turn their attention to a 3-5 Sioux Falls Cougars squad.
Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 PM on Friday.
