Duluth Denfeld Boys Hoops Earns Redemption in 7AAA Rematch Against Hermantown

Duluth Denfeld (2-1) will play against North Branch on December 12th.

HERMANTOWN, Minn.- The Hermantown boys basketball team is still in search of their first win of the season, as they fell to Duluth Denfeld 83 to 77 on Tuesday.

Hermantown senior Abraham Soumis would score his 1,000th career point in the contest. Making him the 10th player in program history to achieve the feat.

As for Denfeld, Marnaries Ferguson had a team-leading 35 points.

Tuesday’s matchup was also a rematch of the Section 7AAA championship from last season.

Hermantown (0-3) will next host Cloquet on Thursday.

Duluth Denfeld (2-1) will play against North Branch on December 12th.
