Superior Boys Outlast Marshall in Defensive Battle
All three goals scored in third period
SUPERIOR, Wis.- After no goals scored by either team in the first two periods, the Superior boys hockey team put a pair of shots behind the net in their 2-1 victory over Duluth Marshall.
Goalie Trent Peterson led the way for the Spartans with 20 saves through two periods. This win puts Superior at 2-1 overall with their next game set for Tuesday, December 12th against North Shore.
Duluth Marshall (1-2-1) will also get a week off before playing on the road against Hermantown on Tuesday.
