The show has a ice fishing basin that had live fish for people to catch, which continues to be a big hit year-after-year.

“It’s a great opportunity to pick up those last minute gifts and than it’s the start of the ice fishing season and really the winter season, so for snowshoeing, biking, snowmobiling, this is the place to kick start the winter,” said Chris Narvatil, Show Manager.

The show not only supplies new ice fishers with the gear they need, there is even seminars for newcomers to talk with seasoned fisherman.

“If you’re a beginner, doesn’t mean you have to but a lot of fancy equipment, you can start out with a fishing pole, lures, ice shelter, if you want or just an ice bucket, that’s how I grew up,” said Narvatil.

Another hit at the show is the Sea Lion Splash, where sea lions perform tricks that draws in larges crowds.

The ice show will also be open from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday December, 10.
