Duluth FC Qualifies for 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup

This will be the team's first appearance in the tournament since 2019 and 3rd overall as a club.

DULUTH, Minn.- It may not be soccer season just yet here in the Northland, but Duluth FC already has something to look forward to.

The club announced earlier this week that they have qualified for the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

This will be the team’s first appearance in the tournament since 2019 and 3rd overall as a club.

The BlueGreens have had some success in the cup as they topped Dakota Fusion in the first round on penalty kicks back in 2018.

After that though, they suffered losses to St. Louis FC in the 2nd round of 2018 and dropped a penalty kick decision to the Des Moines Menace in the 2019 first round.

Tournament play will begin on either September 9th or September 10th.
