Level III Sex Offender Relocates to Virginia

The Virginia Police Department is notifying the public of the relocation of a Level III Sex Offender. 

26-year-old Robert Edward Berendt III was living in the area of the 200 block of 22nd Avenue West in Duluth. 

Berendt will be relocating to the 300 block of Chestnut Street in Virginia, as of April 15. 

Berendt has a history of physically assaulting his adult female victim, using threats and a weapon to gain compliance.  He also attempted to sexually assault the victim, who was known to him. 

He has served his time, and is not currently wanted by police.
