Prep Hockey: Hermantown & Denfeld Boys Skate to 2-2 Tie, Grand Rapids/Greenway Girls Clinch 9th Win

DULUTH, Minn.- The Hermantown boys hockey team stayed unbeaten on the year on Tuesday, but they didn’t get the win.

Duluth Denfeld would rally from a two goal deficit to force a 2-2 tie with the Hawks.

Hermantown (4-0-2) will next host Rosemount on Friday at 7 PM.

Meanwhile, Denfeld (5-3-1) will host Irondale on December 27th.

In girls action, Grand Rapids/Greenway earned a road victory over Duluth 6-2.

Kylie DeBay would score her 3rd short handed goal of the season.

The Lightning (9-3) will play at Edina on December 26th.

Duluth (5-7) aims to bounce back on Thursday at Elk River.
