One Dead, One Injured in Biwabik Rollover

One person was killed and another injured following a rollover crash in Biwabik Tuesday afternoon. 

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Chevy Blazer was traveling north on Highway 135 when it went off the road and struck a sign.  The blazer then rolled several times, before coming to a rest back on the road, right-side up in the northbound lanes. 

The driver of the vehicle, 48-year-old Diana Olson, of Embarrass, was killed in the crash. 

46-year-Gregory Olson, a passenger in the car, was taken to Essentia Health- St. Mary’s medical center with serious injuries. 

Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash. 

The accident remains under investigation.
