New Snow, New Fun — For The Dogs
DULUTH, Minn. — After minimal snowfall so far this winter, not only can people now enjoy the snow, but so can pets.
The Jean Duluth Dog Park saw a couple of inches of snow this weekend, but that didn’t stop playful pups from having a blast.
Many of the canines carried on with their normal playtime fun, including making new friends and playing fetch.
One dog owner says his two dogs are thick-coated, and enjoy rolling and running in the snow.
“My dogs love the snow and they love playing in it. They’re dogs that have the fur so they love rolling around in the snow and like when it’s cold and they can come out and do a little bit more in it,” said Dog Owner Daniel Carland. “I just love seeing them get to play and interact with other dogs, they just really enjoy that, I mean they have each other at the house but here they get to run, they get to play and chase.”
When letting your dog play outside in the snow, remember to know their limits and keep an eye on them in case they get too cold.
