White Thunder Riders: Latest Snowfall Won’t Open Trails In Iron County
IRON CO., Wis. — Much needed snow fell across the Northland over the weekend, but it wasn’t enough to open trails in Iron County.
The White Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club said their trail grooming were out Saturday to take advantage of the 5-to-6 inches of snow.
But the club said crews are usually working with 5-to-6 feet of snow by now.
White Thunder Riders said they have no idea when their trails will be good enough to open. They ask for riders’ patience.
