Surfers Catch a Wave Near Brighton Beach

DULUTH, Minn. — When there’s wind– there are waves, and on Lake Superior this weekend, surfers took the wind as an opportunity to make a splash.

Multiple people got in the water near Brighton Beach and Lester River to catch a wave.

With low water temps, the surfers geared up in wetsuits to stay warm.

With high wind gusts, waves crashed into the shore, and surfers waited patiently for the perfect wave.
