UMD Women’s Hockey Stays Put at #7 in Poll, Baskin Named WCHA Defender of the Week
Baskin led the league defenseman in scoring over the weekend and figured in five of the Bulldogs nine goals against Bemidji State University.
DULUTH, Minn.- After picking up the sweep over Bemidji State this past weekend, UMD women’s hockey remains at number seven in the country.
The Bulldogs would outscore the Beavers nine to nothing.
In other UMD women’s news, UMD junior defenseman Hanna Baskin earned the WCHA Defender of the Week award.
Baskin led the league defenseman in scoring over the weekend and figured in five of the Bulldogs nine goals against Bemidji State University.
They’ll next face a tougher task in top ranked Ohio State this upcoming weekend.
The Buckeyes would take both games against UMD back in October.
