CSS Men’s Hockey Falls to #8, CSS Women’s Pohlkamp Earns MIAC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

Pohlkamp recorded five goals in a series sweep against Concordia.

DULUTH, Minn.- The St. Scholastica men’s hockey team continues to drop in the polls after winning against UW-River Falls on Friday and falling to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.

The Saints are now ranked eighth after previously being sixth.

CSS will return to Mars Lakeview Arena this weekend for a home and home series with St. Olaf this weekend. That series begins at 7 PM on Friday.

On the women’s side, St. Scholastica senior Abby Pohlkamp claimed her first MIAC Offensive Player of the Week nod.

Pohlkamp recorded five goals in a series sweep against Concordia.

She would also tally a hat trick in the first game of the series.

Like the men’s team, Pohlkamp and the Saints will begin a home and home series with St. Olaf on Friday.
